CONDITIONS OF HIRE

Hire Period

• The hire day consists of 24 hours, starting from the time the vehicle is rented. This is also the minimum charge. Detailed information about charges can be found in the rate-list available at all Allied Car Rental counters.

Extension of Hire

• Customers must inform Allied Car Rental at least 24 hours in advance if they need to keep the vehicle for a longer period. Failure to do so and returning the vehicle later than the agreed rental period (with a two-hour grace period) will result in a surcharge equal to half a day's rental for the next four hours and a full day's rental thereafter.

Insurance Excess Charges

• Customers are responsible for paying insurance excess charges if they are involved in an accident that is their fault. The minimum insurance excess charges range from BD 150 to BD 600, depending on the vehicle type.
• For drivers below 25 years of age with less than 2 years of driving experience, or in cases of own damage or unknown damage, the insurance excess is BD 350.
• In case of total loss, the insurance excess is BD 250.

Comprehensive Insurance

• The rental vehicle is covered by comprehensive insurance (P.A.I), which includes coverage for the driver, passengers up to the approved seating capacity, and third-party liabilities in the event of an accident. However, it does not cover personal effects and baggage.
• In the event of an accident, a police report should be provided to Allied Car Rental.

Full Insurance

• If the customer chooses not to pay the full excess insurance amount and an accident occurs, the customer will be fully liable for paying the entire insurance excess amount.
• The customer acknowledges and agrees that they assume full responsibility for any damages, losses, or liabilities that may occur during the rental period and exceed the insurance excess amount.
• In the event of an accident, it is the customer's responsibility to fulfill the financial obligations associated with the full insurance excess amount.

Invalidated Insurance

• Any insurance cover will be invalidated if a police report related to accident and/or damage to the vehicle/bus is not provided to Allied Car Rental.
• The insurance is also void if the vehicle is used beyond the agreed rental period without prior approval from the renting office or if the driver is found driving under the influence of alcohol or any other substances that affect mental capacity.

Credit Card Authorization

• The customer authorizes Allied Car Rental to debit their credit card for any traffic offenses incurred while the vehicle/bus was rented by the customer, as well as for any unpaid dues owed to Allied Car Rental.

Licensing and Identification

• Vehicles cannot be rented to persons who do not hold a valid Bahrain Driving License or a license not recognized by Bahrain authorities.
• Insurance coverage cannot be provided to such persons or for vehicles used by them.
• Customers must provide valid proof of identification and a permanent address.
• Only the person whose name appears on the rental agreement or any additional authorized driver is allowed to drive the rented vehicle.

Taxes

• Allied Car Rental reserves the right to charge the customer any applicable taxes or government taxes.

Non-Smoking Policy

• All vehicles provided by Allied Car Rental are non-smoking vehicles. If smoking is detected in the vehicle, a penalty of BHD 50.000 will be applicable.

PROHIBITED USES

You are not allowed to use the site or its content for the following purposes:

• Engaging in unlawful activities.
• Soliciting others to participate in unlawful acts.
• Violating any local, state, provincial, federal, or international regulations, rules, or laws.
• Infringing upon our intellectual property rights or the rights of others.
• Harassing, abusing, insulting, harming, defaming, slandering, disparaging, intimidating, or discriminating against individuals based on characteristics such as gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability.
• Providing false or misleading information.
• Uploading or transmitting viruses or any other malicious code that may affect the functionality or operation of the Service, related websites, or the Internet.
• Collecting or tracking the personal information of others.
• Engaging in spamming, phishing, pharming, pretexting, spidering, crawling, or scraping activities.
• Using the Service for obscene or immoral purposes.
• Interfering with or circumventing the security features of the Service or any related website, other websites, or the Internet.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in termination of your use of the Service or any related website.
